Don’t accuse me, this is the first time I drawed water.
I know, it’s not good but I did my best.
The girl is ‘Ophelia’, the_mouses RPG-Character. Ophelia is also a character in ‘Hamlet’ and I drawed her like people drawed her so many times: In the water with a girdle of flowers. The colors I choosed fpr the flowers are the colors of fidelity, enviousness, love and innocence (white, only the lily on the back of the head).
Foreground: On the right are the branches of a weeping willow, on the left the branches of an apple tree. The bushes are Prunus laurocerasus (Cherry-laurel or Laurel Cherry), by the way. In Ireland the Cherry-laurel is weed; it grows exuberantly and is evergreen. The drawing is black, so you can’t see how beautiful this plant is. ;D
The hands grabed the girl Ophelia and try to drag her under. Maybe they are the hands of death, maybe not.
Okay. The conditions may not be ideal but I will do it better, next time.
Intelligent girls are more depressed because they know what the world is really like, don't think for a beat it makes it better when you sit her down and tell her everything is gonna be all right. She knows in society she either is a devil or an angel with no in between.
The mouth that never spoke births the first scream. The virgin, like a feather, turns into sinker. The villages around became silent, the wind whispers a dirge but help’s too late for the careworn girl that walks into the water tonight.
“Come with me, I want to show you something…”
All the boats are silent. The lover comes too late for the girl that walks under the lake this night, the full moon looking down at her.
“You wanted to be with me, as well in life as in death. Why didn’t you attend to me this time…? My smile is frozen, my eyes are empty. Where were you when I drowned alone and sank on the ground because you didn’t hold me?”
Presumably you would like to comment in german... Don't let me keep you.

This picture is really, really great! You know, I love Emilie Autuumn and thanks to her I began to read Shakespeare and Ophelia is a very interesting character, I really like her...
Anyways, some things I especially liked are the plants that are mirrored on the surface of the water, the hands that are grabbing her body and Ophelia herself because she is absolutely beautiful in this picture... Oh, and the flowers in her hair are a great idea, too.
I would put this picture into the topic Emilie Autumn as well because of obvious reasons :D There can´t be enough Ophelias!^^
Uhm, and sorry for any mistakes in grammar and typing... I´m still learning English^^ |

I've got a picture in my gallery which looks similar to yours ...
but I love the idea with the hands grabing her ..
and your water is waaaaaay better than mine ^^...
you could also put this picture into the cathegory "Subway to Sally" ^^
my picture is dedicated to a song from them ("rosen im wasser" -> roses in the water)
I like the way you draw hands Oo ...
and the girdle is also beautiful ... and you thought about so many details (like the colors and their meaning)

das siehtz richtig gut aus, die coloratio hst du gut gemacht, ich finde die figut echt gut gelungen.
der hintergrund und die umgebung ist schön detailreich gestaltet.
schöne lichteffekte un die schattierungen sind auhc toll geworden. die frisur des mädchens foinde ich schön gemacht. |
