Hi there!
Maybe I got something wrong but for some reason I can't access the fanfiction and it tells me
Error: Only members of full age can access the fanfiction
I am definitely of full age and registered as such as well. Meh. :(

You may be of full age. But no, you are NOT yet registered as adult in our database. For legal reasons, the mere birthdate you have given in your profile is not satisfying enough so that we could grant you access to adult material without further proof of your age.
Every user needs to verify that his age (as inserted in the registration sheet) is really correct. Only after verifying that, he/she can gain access to the adult sections of our website. That is necessary for legal reasons.
You need to send us a scan or a good digital photo of an ID document (passport, driver's license, ID card etc.) via email to info@animexx.de
Then we will mark your account as adult, and you will have free access to all Hentai pics. ^_^

Aaaaah, got it. I guess that's a good thing. At least it really keeps the kiddies away from the "kinky" stuff instead of just using alibi "are you legal?"-buttons. I'll send you a scan of my ID then. ^_^

I just send a scan of my ID moments ago, it is okay if I typed the e-mail in english? I know nothing of German but hey, that doesn't stops one from seeing the fanarts at least ^^

So, if I sent you a scan of my driver's license and just went ahead and censored out every piece of information on it except my first name and birthdate, would that get me in... or would that disrupt the identity theft phishing scheme which this seems so much like?
I would advise against anyone sending their ID to this guy. It comes across like a scam.

Yes, you can blank out parts of your ID.
E.g. you can blank out all kinds of numbers, or a photo etc.
The only necessary elements we need to see are the DOB AND the true name. Unfortunately we cannot do without the last one, because we need to make sure that, in case of an examination by youth protection law officials, we can prove that we only marked accounts as "adult" where a real person with a true name exists, showing that by giving that name in our data sheet.
If an adult verification under these conditions is not an option for you, because your worries about identity theft are too strong, then that's okay; we are sorry, but we cannot change our policy in that regard. In that case, we know that it's possible to have a lot of fun at our site even without the adult sections, and we hope that you will think so, too ^^
I don't know if that helps you cyde, but I hope you understand why Animexx does this. I'm also registered as an adult and not even once did I have any problems with identity theft. But I guess, to each his/her own. *shrugs*

How much would the postage be to send it by mail from the US? And what should I do on the envelope?

I have no idea how much a postage from the US to Germany is. But I think you could easily get info about this at the nearest postal office. At least it works like that in Germany. Research via internet is also possible I think. And on the envelope... well, a post stamp is necessary of course. The address of Animexx too. ;-) I think you should go to a post office, take enough money with you, pay the price for the stamp and send the envelope. But if you have enough stamps at home that is perhaps not necessary.
